Tales with Teens
About Us
We are a youth-led community organization that helps kids strengthen critical thinking skills through free and accessible classes and workshops!
Our Missions
Combatting against AI Cognitive Offloading
With growth of AI technology in recent years, independent reasoning skills are becoming increasingly threatened! With recent studies reporting 86% of teens using AI for schoolwork, students are depending on the technology for ideas, projects, and even thinking.
We strive to help kids and teens regain their reasoning skills and set them up for a lifetime of decision-making, brainstorming, and analysis skills!

Our recent library stand engaging with families and playing trivia!
Free and accessible outside-of-school education
Many people believe education as a whole has become accessible. However, UNESCO estimates around 251 million children are out of school globally. Not only that, but in countries with already established free education systems, privilege and social class often play a role in the quality and extent of learning, specifically when it comes to extracurricular classes. With traditional tutoring sessions and programs ranging from $20-$75 an hour, is education really as accessible as it seems?
Although we understand our program is not an attempt at a systemic solution to this prevalent issue, we still believe in making an impact. We want to offer families an affordable and possible option for their kids to learn and improve outside of school.

Disclaimer: Our program is absolutely not perfect and may not be accessible to everyone! Due to our current capacity and capabilities, we are only able to support fluent English speakers, as our courses are designed to challenge grade-level students. Additionally, our courses require device usage and access to the internet. This is something we are currently working on as we aspire to be accessible to all kids!
