With the growth of AI use in recent years, I noticed how I struggled to come up with my own ideas and even form my opinions after depending on the technology. My peers as well faced this same issue, and I heard how people used AI to fully complete projects, analyze text, and even just think.

Working closely with Grade 8s and elementary kids for school welcome days and elementary workshops, I noticed a similar cognitive gap, except even larger. Young kids haven't even developed reasoning and thinking abilities, and likely don't know the impact that technology can have on cognitive development.​​

So, in August 2025, I enlisted an incredible team of volunteers to all combat cognitive offloading together! Through courses and workshops that are free and online, we hope to be able to strengthen the independent reasoning skills of kids all over the world.​
